What is CPVC Air Release Valve?

The air locked in the pipe will gradually rise upwards and accumulate at the highest points of the system. Pump breakdown, incorrect instrumentation measurements, malfunctions, flow problems, and water spurts or pressure spikes can all be caused by trapped air. Unwanted air in the tube also makes the pump work harder, which uses more power.

The purpose of a CPVC Air Release Valve, also known as an air relief valve, is to relieve trapped air that collects at each maximum height of a full pressurized tube. Because the internal lever system increases the floating force to exceed the internal pressure, an air release valve may open against the internal pressure. When gas bubbles form in the valve, the greater force opens the opening. CPVC air release valves are critical to pipeline productivity and protection against water spillage.

The purpose of the VA air release is to eliminate any air entering the pipe with the liquid.
