One more type of pipe tee seen in pipe and tube fittings is the CPVC Reducer Tee. There are two types of pipe tees: standard tees, which have all the outlets of the same size, and reducer tees, which have a mix of different outlet sizes.
CPVC reducing tee has high corrosion resistance. Stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance in all water conditions due to its thin and strong oxide coating on its surface.
Even if stainless steel is buried, it will remain corrosion resistant. If you use PVC reducing tees in all water conditions, you won’t need to worry about water quality other than sterilizing.
